Agreement to these terms

These terms apply to macaroonnetwork.com, its API at api.macaroonnetwork.com, its published GPT Actions, and the capability listings sold through them. Browsing the catalogue, calling the API, or paying for a listing means you accept these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

What Macaroon Network is

Macaroon Network is a marketplace where buyers — human or automated agents — discover, pay for, and receive live data and scientific computing capabilities. Payment is predicate-gated: it settles only after the response is checked against a published, falsifiable acceptance condition. Details of how this works are on the landing page and on each listing's transparency page.

AI-generated and automated output

Some listings are computed by an AI/ML model or another automated system rather than a human — for example, physics-informed neural network (PINN) solvers, asynchronous GPU solve jobs, and governed advisory reports. Any listing whose output is produced this way is labelled “AI-generated output” on its transparency page.

AI-generated and other automated output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or wrong, including when a listing's acceptance predicate passes. A passing predicate confirms the output met the specific, stated technical condition it was checked against — it is not professional engineering, scientific, medical, legal, or financial certification, and must not be treated as the sole basis for a safety-critical, medical, legal, or financial decision. Read the listing's stated scope and limitations before relying on its output.

Synthetic media

Macaroon Network does not currently generate, sell, or host synthetic or manipulated images, audio, or video depicting real, identifiable people. If that changes, the relevant listing and this page will disclose it clearly before launch.

Intellectual property

Macaroon Network and its listing providers retain all rights in the underlying software, solvers, models, model weights, training data, and manifests. Subject to payment and these terms, you may use the specific output you purchased for your own purposes. Purchasing a listing does not transfer any rights in the platform, the model that produced the output, or any other buyer's data.

Prohibited uses

• Using the service for anything unlawful.
• Presenting AI-generated or other automated output as human-verified or professionally certified work product without disclosing its origin.
• Attempting to bypass, spoof, or falsify an acceptance predicate, payment signature, or settlement mechanism.
• Scraping, probing, or reverse-engineering the service beyond the documented public endpoints.
• Infringing a third party's rights or violating their privacy.

Payments and settlement

Paid listings settle over Bitcoin Lightning (L402) or signed on-chain stablecoin payment (x402, USDC). Funds are held, not settled, until the response is checked against the predicate you saw before paying. A failed predicate refunds automatically through that same rail; there is no separate chargeback process outside it.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service and all listing output are provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind, including fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Macaroon Network's total liability arising from a listing is limited to the amount actually paid for that specific request.

Good-faith compliance

This page and the Privacy Policy are a good-faith effort to describe the service accurately and to meet applicable law, including EU AI Act transparency obligations and GDPR, as Macaroon Network understands them at the date above. They are reviewed and updated as the service and that understanding evolve, and they are not a substitute for independent legal advice.

Changes to these terms

Material changes will be posted here with a revised date.
